Titanium Oro Travertine
We call Travertines to certain sedimentary rocks formed by deposits of calcium carbonate. If certain conditions are met, especially acidic or thermal waters, these rocks composed of calcite, aragonite and dolomite can be formed. The dissolution of these materials creates a chemical sediment in the form of concentrated ions in the water, which accumulate as drops and generate very striking chemical sedimentary rocks that often even have a structure like colored bands. It often contains plant remains. This chemical accumulation usually happens in caves, in volcanic hydrothermal systems and as rock filling, and they also usually appear very close to underground rivers.
