Description
The Soglio Quarzit is a quartzitic paragneiss coming from Soglio, in the Grisons canton, (Switzerland). The rock presents medium-fine grain and schisting weaving. Its colour is CLEAR-GREY. Its features mean that it is ideal for all interior and exterior applications, it is particularly suited for split working.

Open porosity (by volume): 1,0%
Water absorption (by mass): 0,3 %
Flexural strength in natural conditions: 16,6 MPa
Flexural strength after frost test: 14,9 MPa
Compression strength in natural conditions: 141 MPa
Compression strength after frost test: 162 MPa
Abrasion resistance - groove length: 16,0 mm
Slip resistance value - sand blasted (dry): 99 (SRV)
Slip resistance value - sand blasted (wet): 71 (SRV-USRV)
